Devon McKeown is a dedicated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor and passionate advocate for the martial art. A veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Devon served with the 2/11th ACR, where he learned the importance of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance—values that he continues to apply in his Jiu-Jitsu journey.
As a husband, father, and lifelong learner, Devon is committed to sharing the transformative benefits of Jiu-Jitsu with others. He finds great fulfillment in helping students not only improve their skills but also build confidence, resilience, and a sense of community.
In late 2021, Devon had the honor of receiving his Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from Master Carlos Gracie Jr. and Professor Jefferson Moura at the prestigious Gracie Barra World Summit. This achievement represents years of dedication and a deep respect for the art and its traditions.
Beyond Jiu-Jitsu, Devon continues to serve his country as a civil servant, embodying the values of service, integrity, and dedication both on and off the mat.
